What a position for Robbo to be in. He will give Cordner his left side position when he returns from injury.......but it must be hell tempting to leave Crichton there

I thought the same thing last night when watching the replay...as I tried to find a spot for Cordner somewhere else.

One thing to consider though it's that we have been playing on fast dry fields in the daytime. We now moved into night time mode which will be a perfect prep for the finals... We won't get the luxury of the ball movement, foot work and width that we have recently had. This is where Boyd excels!

Cordner has a mortgage on left edge backrow and rightly so. Angus back to right, our halves need to bring Angus into the game and lite up the right side which has the potential to be as damaging as the left. Scary thought

I would never consider moving Boyd from a position he has made his own. So many times he carried us and NSW out of trouble, and locks up the defence on the left that makes up for his limited ball skills. I’m like everyone here loving Angus’ form over the last 3-4 weeks and I’m sure he’s able to keep producing that form wherever he’s chosen to play.

If we are losing a sudden death final I could see Robbo taking a punt in the last 20 mins and switching Crichton to the left.

The beautiful thing is Crichton four years younger than Cordner.

Cords is the Roosters, NSW and Australian captain and the best left edge 2nd rower in the game no chance he's not playing there. His direct running at opposition halves and quick play the balls are integral in our left side attack and he is a much better defender than Angus.
Our right edge is really starting to click and is so good at shutting opposition teams down.
I think Angus will be going back to the bench if we ever get to full strength.
Our depth is so good and no other team has a top 20 players that come near it.

My memory from when Angus was at Souths was he was attacking down the right side so it should be an easy move once Cordner gets back. I hope Robbo starts him as he is a waste on the bench on current form.

Angus to the right side, Aubbo to the bench as he can double as the team utility

Bigger choice coming up as discussed previously of butcher or sitili when all are fit
