  • Lol the refs get the try they wanted.

That's about 22 penalties conceded the past two weeks.

Make bo mistake, they're coming hard for us.

    • BTW, refereeing still garbage - our play the ball speed is SLOWER than the Titans yet we are the ones getting blown for slowing down the ruck - just garbage.

                  • Back to back here we come, the refs are trying hard to stop us but you can't stop us.
I'm calling it now, we will not only go back to back but will win 2018, 2019 & 2020 grand finals.

                      Let’s not get cocky now

we were only playing the Titans

Yeah I was worried. Relieved to see the score, although that try was soft...

Bingo. My biggest fear (and I don't go back on it) was that they'd play a risky, unorthodox style of footy and ruin our momentum/structures by doing so.

Instead they played like a reserve-grade team and it was kinda pathetic. Still... too be expected. Their only noteworthy players are Crack Sniffer and 'young gun' (who is now getting on and hasn't quite made it).

My assessment of our odds next week remains pessimistic. I have NEVER seen us win a game in Canberra since moving there roughly a decade ago. Canberra own that cauldron.

What this result says is that we played according to our level of skill. We CAN get cocky because this result against the Titans says we are where we need to be. Had it been a close game, then we wouldn't or shouldn't be getting cocky!

                              • I hope we are really hitting top form because next week will be a chance to win outright top 2nd but the raiders at Canberra I have my doubts about whether we can beat them at home.
