I've never doubted Cronk. He's the Zen master. His presence on the field is almost always a calming influence.

We will miss him when he is gone!
      You can count on that!

Nah, if you don't agree with my opinion you are spoilt and entitled!

I love what he has done for this club. this thread certainly wasn't to crucify him...I just think he has been below par quite often lately.

'He's the Zen master. His presence on the field is almost always a calming influence'.... Watch the last 10 minutes against the cows, he certainly didn't have this effect on the team. One set in particular was embarrassing.

          Once again, just my opinion

As stated by a previous poster, I hope he stays on as a trainer ala Alfie.

Anyone that is so stupid to think the only things Cronks does or influences are when he has the ball is truly a moron
The Internet is a place for posting silly things

                Interesting perspective.

I would think anyone who calls a person a moron over their opinion of a football player is perhaps the true moron.

Maybe and while I can make an absolute art form out of being a moron, to underestimate or not recognise the influence a player like Cronk has off the ball and off the field is performing at an Olympic gold medal standard.

but its all a laugh and silly banter anyway

No way we win 2018 without an injured Cronk on the paddock , and not likely we win 2019 without him , Didn't know much about him till he came to the roosters but listening to him talk about what he wants to achieve with our club its truly inspiring for the younger players . Personally wish he wasn't retiring

just as important to the side is Jake. If he’s doesnt get back out there this year, we are pretty much no hope.

When he is doing a lap of honour I will be one that says he retired one year too early.

                            Absolutely spot on.

The biggest weapon we may have going for us in our attempt at going b2b in 2019, as compared to our collapse in 2014, may well be Cronk's leadership and personality.

He has that same influence and aura as Smith.

The players surely wouldn't dare turning it up towards the end of the season as all Premiers do given that it's Cronk's swansong. He sets such an example that you just know the players will follow.

I was never a Pearce bagger and was a bit surprised when we went for Cronk, but Cronk has composure and MP doesn't. Doesn't guarantee us b2b, but we'll give it a shake.
