  • Official Game Day Thread: Roosters v Knights

The time has come to flex our muscles. Our spine is back and we are only missing 2 regulars who will be more than covered for by our strong depth. It's time for revenge after our previous humiliating defeat. It's time to shut that "We don't get the rub of the green" face-slapping imposter of an NRL coach's mouth up. It's time to shove Pearce's Newcastle emblem where the sun don't shine. There's a reason we are premiers and today there is no excuse not to remind everyone. Let's smash these uneducated bottle throwing wannabees and reiterate to them that they are pretenders who are just there to make up the numbers.

    GO ROOSTERS!

They walked all over us last time.
Unless we improve greatly from last week, they'll walk all over us again.

Hopefully Teddy won't turn into an Origin star and a club 'myth'.

He is usually our best player and always gets involved. He ain’t no Gagai. A bit insulting that you would suggest this when it is clear that Teddy gives his all for our club.

              Never go full retard.

Teddy would be gunning for b2b Dally Ms if he played in team full of trash like RTS.

When has Teddy ever been a club myth? He puts in every single game

Easts by 2, Teddy and Latrell to play well but the goal line defence will make it a close one

Was just a bad day Matt. We had several of them last year too.

Don't know what to expect. Given our recent record it's hard to be confident we'll blast them off the park, but given our talent wouldn't be surprised if we did.

A narrow win would do me.

Big game today . Newcastle will come prepared knowing Easts will be up for this game. Pressure is on Easts today to perform well and win. I say Easts by 8.

i feel we will win well today, no thrashing but a comfortable win, pearce and his cohorts including fragile ponga will be seen as the try-hards they are, we can rely on a few skd moments plus watson trying to out run our ruck defense but he will be cut down as required and except for ju ju long kicking game we are all over them, we owe a certain knights forward for kearys last concussion too, don't square up jwh let another do it we don't want you on the sideline!
