Experience. Boyd Corder made his first grade debut in 2011, eight years ago. Already the 2010 grand final players, Jake Friend, JWH and best on ground Mitch Aubusson, were regulars in the first grade side. All four are in the run on pack and that four alone add 897 games experience as Roosters.
Cooper Cronk is playing his 366th game and is the second most decorated player in the NRL. Trent Robinson has coached the Roosters for 177 games now, taking out four minor premierships and two grand finals. The Knights can offer nowhere this combined experience.
Even Ryan Hall with his 333 games and Brett Morris with 236 and loyal Toups has been running around for 152 games, mostly under Robbo. Note I'm not mentioning the young stars. Experience! The past doesn't equal the future but it lays the groundwork for it.
My prognosis. The Knights will need to use their youth and enthusiasm to blast out of the boxes and ambush the game. If the Roosters can match or exceed the early onslaught, they will run away from a tiring Knights team, whose defence will not cope with continued pressure. Roosters to cruise home.

My fuming at losing Ferguson was only inflamed by his heroics in SOO. We've been missing his finishing and his ability to get us out of trouble. But that is past. It's time for this squad to stand up and be counted. I see this as a must-win if we want to re-establish our premiership credentials. Hall is improving. Friend is back - just needs to cut down the errors. At our best we can win this by 20+. (We've already seen what can happen at our worst!)

Manu dropped for BMoz..
good decision id say. Manu has been low on confidence this year and can barely hold onto a tackle where BMoz has been almost amazing in every game he’s played
Robbo showing that nobody is safeLast edited by David Bill Williams; 07-20-2019, 03:13 PM.
