As for Sisa, I hope the kid slays them next season. I recall a certain Winger who couldnt catch a cold in 99, and by 2003 was the Australian Fullback and Golden Boot winner. Mini and Perret were teh same....they came/are coming good. Lets give this Sisa kid our backing and get him up (so to speak). Plus the only other choice we have is Sonny and Cher.
Well said. Blokes like Waqa and Tugimala should be retained and developed. IMO if there is one position in a footy side when you can buy anyone and develop them into a 1st grader its a winger.
Thats why I can't understand us throwing big money at the Wolfman. Yes he is a good solid winger, but if we show some patience with younger guys we can have 2-3 good one's ourselves.
I mean the Wolfman is a classic example. In 07 he was cut from parra and was about to play a season of park footy untill manly picked him up. He wasn't known, he wasn't a star but he was just given an oppurtunity.
If we show the same faith in some of our young kids you will find that they will repay you in the long run.

Whilst there's hope that Sisa may prove to be a worthwhile purchase given time, Sonny T will never make the grade.
You need to the ability to catch a ball and tackle in league - and Sonny T just doesn't have it.
I just hope that Fittler doesn't follow his recent pattern in substituting one for the other on a weekly basis so we take Sonny T up to NQ this week. Even if NQ are without Thurston, we are cactus if he does.
NCSupporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

Sonny obviously can catch at training but not in a match thus far...
I just hope we don't go out and waste 250-300k of our cap on someone like the Wolfman. It would be the stupidest signing imaginable.

For me, he will be one of the great wingers when he retires, he runs them out of trouble so easily.
Still young too.

sonny can learn to catch in match conditions either at newton or apdo colts, certainly not in fg! people forget as a player embraces first grade no moer coaching time is spent on the basics, its all higher level stuff up her, opposition weaknesses running angles et6c, so any player with a weakness must iron that out either before fg or in another arena, ista pity we cant lend players to other teams for while, used to eb able to do that?
