Funny how there has been no mention that the whole week was all about not singing the anthem and whether it had an impact to those players and others in the team. Nobody would dare bring that up.

I'd say that had a hell of a lot to do with it. Whatever idiots were in their ears about not singing "the white man's anthem" while taking the white man's money need to be stopped from talking to them.

and apparently Gould is now blaming the Roosters players for Walkers poor performance. Cordner said he was happy to play how ever Walker wanted to (he was the half 5/8) and Gould says they should have told him how to play. The guy is an absolute ****wit.and looks for any opportunity to put crap on the Roosters and actually did the same to NSW the other night.

I honestly believe RL will be truly great when there is no Gould, Warren or any Burgess involved.

Fittler is actually perfect for an origin coach, doesn't actually have to coach, just inspire, as long as he doesn't get too loopy

I believe they expected latrell to win the game for them as his best game would be only in the dreams of Cleary/walker.

it's a more obvious slump in form compared to those two, but unfair comparison as it was up to those halves to get lats good ball which rarely happened.

That wasn't my point. My point was that Fittler bagging Latrell and mentioning the club served no real purpose other then to deflect from other shortcomings in the team and coaching staff

As for Latrell's defence, its hard to defend in the centres when the bloke inside you is all over the shop. One minute he's shooting out of the line, the next he's backing off. The Munster line break in the first half was the perfect example of Walker's problems. They're on the half way line, outnumbered and he shoots out of the line going for an intercept. The cardinal rule that far out from your try line, is to back off and wait for the inside men to get across and help you out. Walker's play opened the hole up for Munster because Latrell was back pedalling like he has been taught. When you watch the play unfolds, it looks like Latrell has left the hole open when he was probably thinking to himself 'wtf is this guy doing??'

Gould's rants these days are a toxic combination of narcissism, jealousy and a very high alcohol intake. I have little doubt his serious gambling problems are also playing a factor in his erratic and completely over the top and off the mark comments about Latrell.

What rubbish - Gould's loyalty only belongs to the one who's paying him the most money at any given time. He is more Panther than he will ever be a Chook. Same goes for Fittler.
