- The last game at the SFS was awesome and will go down in the history books. We filled the stadium, beat Souffs and by doing so qualified for a GF (which we won quite emphatically). That moment will be my last memory of a game at the SFS, I was there (in a good seat) and it'll always be frozen in time for what it was.
- The money's being spent on us, not another NRL club. If it HAS to be wasted on blatant pork barrelling, then at least we're the beneficiaries.
- I reckon we've played the right politics needed to secure the 25 year deal. Jones and Murdoch are both crusty old f@rts who will be dead by the time the current deal expires so we won't have to suck either of their dicks ever again.Last edited by ism22; 04-10-2019, 07:16 PM.

Got plenty of fantastic memories of the joint.
Beating Souths 62-0 a personal favourite.
Beating them last when it mattered.
Beating Brisbane in the 2002 gf qualifier.
Smashing the Dogs a hundred nil in 2003.
But my absolute favourite was the night we came back from nowhere to beat Joey Johns in the semi, with Freddy's intercept the icing on the cake.
Good times.

I used to love all the VR rides at the blue cone and playing Nights into Dreams on their Sega Saturns inside their gift shop. There were also some awesome raves there throughout the years (no doubt Bongdi can relate - blue cones and mad raves). While it was sad losing that memory... it was completely out of my control, it made way for new experiences and the old memories will never be lost.

i read a great article regarding moving a few of our home games to Nth Syd stadium. If the main field at the sfs isbad and getting worst due to nrl, yawnion, afl and sokka. why not move a game or two and have a tripple header. harold matts, bears then roosters. (i wonder if they still make K>B) any how it would make for a great day of footy1911 1912 1913 1923 1935 1936 1937 1940 1945 1974 1975 2002 2013 2018 2019 2020

I'm now a little worried about the surface at the SCG. How can it be dangerous for soccer playing knees and not for League playing knees? Was the Melbourne soccer player's knee injury due to the surface? If so, why can't the same thing happen to one of our blokes?

While I am against the knockdown of the SFS, Michael Daley being such a weak sister put paid to that being stopped, so I'll embrace the Roosters new home (however without a roof it is) if it ever opens. And I'll likely catch the light rail there...if that ever starts working too.

Not trying to be smart arse. Swans and nrl are north south. So far, only Shoot goal and rugby had the issues and each game is e-wWritten and published on behalf of the Liberal Party, Queensland

I think the Melbourne player did his knee when he trod on the area where the cricket square stops. You'd figure the same thing could happen to one of our blokes. If soccer was right to cancel games at the SCG, how can it be safe for League? We're kidding ourselves if we think League knees are less prone to injury than soccer knees.
