I'm not sure we'll see or get anything out of this game.

Manly will be too busy running up a cricket score.

KJ was on the money. Im quite surprised ...usually we play at least the first half of this trial with as close as possible to our Round 1 team.

Always interested to get a good showcase of what our depth looks like however.

I guess there are opportunities for guys to step up and make a statement at least. Be quite interesting .

Different approach this year from Robbo brought on by our WCC game supposedly.

Tbf, about 2/3rds of Manly's squad are only reserve graders at almost any other club.

So it might be closer than some might think given that it's also only a trial.

Usually we don't play in the World Club Challenge with a pretty settled team. There's not many spots up for grabs in our top 17

Yeah I get that...disappointed for the good people of the Central Coast who were likely looking forward to seeing the stars though.

Personally I enjoy seeing other guys get a go, especially in trials so still looking forward to it. Crowd will be somewhat diminished I expect.

I’m heading out there. It’s become an annual pilgrimage for my fam. Stay at Umina and have a long weekend. Pumped!

He's the one I'd be most interested in after the tremendous wraps on his junior career. Certainly a big boy that the club chased hard to get.

And I also meant to include Stefano Hala. He has represented NSW Under 20's last year - front row - and was also in the Junior Kangaroos with Victor Radley, Brodie Croft, Jessie Ramen etc. Being a prop he'll take a bit longer but he hits the liner fast and hard and can slip a ball in traffic. A Penrith junior who transferred to the Raiders last year and now finds himself trying out for our squad.

Always good to see the young talent coming through. We seem to have plenty of it.

Hope Bernie Lewis has a good year and stays injury free.

Me too. I mean we’ve kept him when many 3/4’s have come and gone. The club must see something there.

Word on the street is that he is a little RAW.

Will be a whirlwind 48 hours for him flying in then out for the game.

He and GGM are cousins and both had plenty of talent.

one proper trial before the season opener. I hope they're ready.

Manly will have a few missing from injury
If our halves & front row keep their composure it should be worthy
Look forward to watching our good mate Collins with Crichton lead the pack
Manly by 10......would be a good result
