Any player coming from the super league will say that the intensity of the NRL is on another level, they also say that there are games where you turn up knowing you will win and that just doesn't happen with the NRL.

There's no doubt British league isn't as strong as it was, but to say the NRL is 4 or 5 times harder is meaningless. What does it mean? That the tackles are 4 times harder? Nonsense. That Super League teams don't stand a chance against NRL teams? How come NRL teams haven't won 4 times as many Club Championships?

But sure, seems like the intensity of the NRL is higher and the competition more even.

I would disagree with the last bit. Granted there are games you’re expected to win. Turn up “knowing you’ll win” and you’ll likely get beat mate. Happens fairly often actually.

Thanks, I am glad its back to how it is supposed to be.
Why am I not surprised there is another example of Bellamy disrespecting the game

If we don’t put 50 on against this reserve grade standard side then I reckon we SACK ROBBO.

Congrats on your team winning the comp.
I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did when the Roosters got justice here.

Robbo has fond memories of SL

He will make this a serious cultural exchange & ensure the team is available to media & fans

prolly a visit to some of his fav vineyards on the way

Roosters have embraced this event well in past times

Plenty of money from minor & major premiership wins so why not take a large squad

Only injury or a note from mum will prevent our best side from playing

Its hardly an even playing field is it.English clubs operate on around a 3m salary cap v NRL of 9m plus.Of course we should win well given the quality of players we can afford compared to them.Between 2001-2008 the poms won 7 of the 8 games but back then the salary cap disparity was nowhere near as wide as it has been over the past 5-6 years.

You’ve hit the nail on the head there mate. The sad thing is that there are actually a good few clubs that still can’t make the cap.

I’ll guarantee you that neither of the above will happen.

Our Roosters Girls v Wigan would be a more even contest.

I've seen your Roosters girls. I wouldn't like to face them either.

i like the Super League. While it is not really near the NRL's skill level, the games over there are usually more exciting to watch than most NRL games. The Roosters are the only reason why I watch the NRL. Because they are the best team in the world. i mean, seriously. Some of the teams playing in our competition have virtually no soul. Others are just boring teams. Others are in shambles. And unfortunately, our competition has an ugly green and red stain which encapsulates all of these points, somehow surviving in the league despite the NRL's best attempts to shrug them off into oblivion, which they almost did
