Ryan Hall, do you think he even be close to being match fit by then? Pretty nasty injury he picked up.

Got to agree with ya. In this years respective comps, it’s daylight between the NRL and Superleague. Even our bottom 4 sides would give them a run for their money.

Is it a given that going over there is bad preparation for the season proper? I'd guess there are pros and cons.

Too big an off season is troublesome. Half the squad are already on test tours, plenty played Origin and all played finals. The NRL season is too long and taxing as it is. Bugger the WCC

I think that’s nothing more than a myth, or perhaps just a poor excuse for not performing. We came over to Sydney this year and played 2 games. Today we won the grand final.

The NRL season is shorter than Super League mate. That’s not even including the challenge cup comp which runs alongside it.

                Hope we can match that!

i think clubs generally pick their best squad for these games, so I expect a close to full strength team. Maybe one or two fringe players like Collins and Butcher may get some game time

My thoughts exactly. It’s another trophy on offer, why wouldn’t you want it in your cabinet.

Robbo is very for growing the game and has a soft spot for the Super League as he spent time there, I would imagine he would be taking the game seriously with close to full strength squad.

I would also imagine he would support playing the game over there rather than refuse like Melbourne did last year.

I recall the only reason we played in Sydney the last WCC was there were calls to back in Australia every second year (which didn't last long) and Wigan were keen to tour.

Robbo was very happy to be part of the WCC Series in 2016 in England with a close to full strength squad of who was available, where they struggled to find many teams willing to go (hence I think the series no longer exists - last years games other than the WCC were just independent expo games).

Would be great to become the club with the most world titles (4 if we win) as we have never lost in one of these. 14 premierships and 4 time world champions sounds good to me!

I thought the "real" club challenge was tossed out ages ago when it became a 3 or 4 team event

Try and be serious and you will look stupid

No the 'world club challenge' of NRL Premiers vs Super League Premiers was part of the series, but was part of a 3 game series of NRL vs Super League

It resorted back to only premiers vs premiers last year although was close to be scrapped completely due to Melbourne refusing to go overseas, but Leeds was very keen and agreed to fly over

We have that crown. If you beat us then we’ll be on 4 each.
