I doubt they will get him. I reckon something’s got to give at that club this season. The fact that they have 3 first grade halves choices in Flanagan, Johnson and Townsend could potentially derail combinations which would strengthen between two first choice halfbacks. Add to that the departure of Holmes, their cap dramas and the potential of Shaun Johnson failing to fire in his first year, I think their bubble will burst, and Shane Flanagan will be sacked

Bit of a stretch at the moment to say Flanagan is a first grade half

Well, he has been praised by many as a great talent, and already has made his debut, not to mention the fact that flanagan has claimed that Kyle or Shaun Johnson will have kicking duties in a recent interview, indicating that Kyle will have a role in the first grade squad somewhere. I think he is ready to play first grade, and I think the sharks think that as well. They have got to be ready sometime right?

Take it as you will, but tapau won’t be leaving manly next year.

I'll take it as positive news.
We dont need to dilute the squad with any more established first graders from other clubs at the moment. It would make more sense to fill the available spaces with an eye to the future, and maybe keep a spot or two open just in case.

Where’s that guy claiming his “mid season trade” rumour he leaked on here was about Napa and Tapau

he was very very quick to say “see I called it mid season” once the Tapau for Napa talks were happening last week but now that it’s come out that Tapau will be staying at Manly I would love to see what he has to say now

I couldn't imagine us releasing napa with a year to go and not having any replacement lined up. We are definitely a prop short.

I thought Lindsay Collins had a great year. I rate him more in offence then Napa

I think he will slot in and we use that money to top off Latrell and Manu!

                        Agreed.
The good Farmer and Curren are other young forwards who could see first grade this year.
