That's not the issue everyone admires what he has done but we just don't need a 31 year old prop, we have plenty of good young ones.

Maliota might come good as well. He missed the first 3 months of the season with injury
came back to play Bundy cup with Cabramatta and has progressed to be in the starting
lineup this week for Newtown. He played last week for Cabramatta grand final winning team along with Sam Brunton. I don't expect him to be playing first grade next year but hopefully Newtown will re-sign him for another 12 months and see how he progresses with an injury free run. He will be only 22 next year.

If I were him I'd retire while I was still healthy.
I'm not liking his protracted tempting of fate.

              1 good year in 5
              Dont think so,

If roosters were lacking in the forwards depth wise ye maybe , but we are over filled with forwards mainly backrowers but frontrowers are well stocked aswell with some backrowers well fitted to play up front aswell

I understand the argument for player depth, but i'd hate for a younger gun prop in the making to get the wrong message and sigh elsewhere for an "opportunity" when they may be close to selection or consideration to be blooded during the year sometime. Instead we should keep a lookout for a quality 5/8th.

We had a good 5/8 , Jacob Miller. The roosters let him go to the Tigers at the beginning of the year.

i have full trust in o'sullivans recruiting skills, I'm sure we wouldn't have let Miller go if he was a world beater. Tiges have Benji and young Sironen ahead of him he can't be too important to them
