Don't think for a second that our chronic drought of penalties received escapes the attention of other teams' coaching staff. If you were coaching against us, wouldn't you notice and coach your side to be offside and peel away from the tackle super slow? If you're unlucky, you might get pinged once or twice per game, but you're never, ever gonna get 10 or more penalties against you no matter what you do.

We shouldn't have to devise a strategy to combat this, but it is more than likely going to continue. It is a big factor in our high error rate, trying to create attack in the face of 4 second play the balls and 7 metre defensive lines rushing up.

Good point - and don't think for another second that the refs aren't aware of it too. Wouldn't necessarily say they consciously have it in for us but they're a bunch of sheep who play follow the leader. If you're your own man like Cecchin you get ostracised.

We have had a lot of blow out wins over Parra over the years. For some reason they don't seem to play the spoiling, holding down, standing offside with impunity from refs tactics that many other sides employ against us. I'm not sure why.
