On paper we should blitz the Eels, they have been terrible all season, yet I cannot see a blow out score line tonight, mainly because of our bench, all good honest players but offer very little in the way of attack or impact, it is a conservative bench designed around defending whilst the starting pack are off the field, we will need plenty of points in the first and last 1/4s of the game, Lattrell, Teddy and Keary will have to be the destroyers

Can we do it?

Of course we can do it. Even if our pack was made up of 6 Nat Butcher’s and we had 4 Nat Butcher’s on the bench, we’d still have a stronger pack then Parra. Parra has the worst pack in the comp. None of them would make Wyong’s bench. Chooks by 60.

We have had a lot of blow out wins over Parra over the years. For some reason they don't seem to play the spoiling, holding down, standing offside with impunity from refs tactics that many other sides employ against us. I'm not sure why.
Don't think for a second that our chronic drought of penalties received escapes the attention of other teams' coaching staff. If you were coaching against us, wouldn't you notice and coach your side to be offside and peel away from the tackle super slow? If you're unlucky, you might get pinged once or twice per game, but you're never, ever gonna get 10 or more penalties against you no matter what you do.
We shouldn't have to devise a strategy to combat this, but it is more than likely going to continue. It is a big factor in our high error rate, trying to create attack in the face of 4 second play the balls and 7 metre defensive lines rushing up.

We need to wake up from our mental laziness that has crept in lately or face another loss/elimination. I really question this team’s mental concentration. We can’t seem to focus or concentrate on the moment at hand which might be catching or passing and are too much in a hurry to score without going through the proper steps which ends up causing mistake after mistake.
if we can’t stay focused on the current moment then we can forget about both tonight and the premiership.
