I am in the minority but I like Ray Warren.
If you want to point the finger at a truly painful caller I give you..........................................Matt Nable.
On the weekend him and Roach were like they were having a fireside chat about the old days. He hardly called the game.
It reminded me of Tim Gilbert's last game - the City Country in Albury. He spent the whole game chatting and it was a fitting last game for the person revered as the worst caller in history.
It's poetic that what seems to be Nable's last game was also something similar.

I can cope with Rabs. He just makes me laugh as I've always thought he was such a square. But he did call a good 86 grand final. His team won it and for that time he signed off on what he thought was his final call, as Ten lost the rights and he was out the door. Lucky for him it was a revolving one.
I can't cope with Hadley, who makes me want to turn the game off. Maybe if enough people did they'd be forced to replace him. Good on Ray Stehr for having Hadley on. Start practising your Turnbull and Shorten impersonations Ray, and give us the thumbs up when you're going to debut them. Even the Fordham drive show would do. Give us a laugh in the traffic jams. .

More like the dopey guy at the pub/footy behind you barracking for the other team.
For the first time ever I muted commentary last week and then I gave up and watched a movie instead.

Luckily we haven't had him for ages.

I believe his current plan is to call it quits at the end of next season, although he has stated that he may go earlier if his health doesn't hold up. He also hates flying, so that stops him doing some games away from Sydney. If he doesn't have time to get there without flying, he generally won't call the game.
