For mine the best English speaking sports commentator is soccer's Martin Tyler. He really knows what's going on.

Tyler is a fantastic commentator as is Phil liggett in cycling, Bob Sheridan in boxing and Bruce mcavaney in athletics. Rabs like a lot of our great callers came from a horse racing broadcasting background but I think his eyes are gone and he struggles with differentiating the pacific islanders , i got a feeling he will pull the pin soon.

Mat John's, Ben Ikin and that other annoying has been Billy Moore as well as a few others have continually written us off this year even allowing for the fact that we have an obvious shit hot team. I am not one to bother people in the public eye as they have enough idiots who think they are their best friends because they see them on the TV and sometimes they get caught not being friendly.

I find Warren Smith very fair in his calling of games. To my surprise I find Gasnier very insightful also, has a very good knowledge of the game
