Ok putting my 2c in Im not jumping over the moon about signing Robinson for an extra 4 or whatever years purely on the fact that he seems to be to conservative in his decisions. In some ways he’s like Fergo where he’ll make good decisions but then he’ll make some blunders which cost us games and premierships. He’s good at getting us to the finals but then he’ll come up with a blunder with his bench choices. I hope to see he changes that and be a little courageous and forthright with the players to let them know that he is the boss and they have to aim up all the time like Sir Alex Ferguson was... he is not there to be their good buddy.

Matt Elliott made the point on radio yesterday that it was classy that Robbo and the club didn't announce the decision when they made it a few weeks ago, but left it to the bye weekend, so as not to take the focus off performing on the field. With speculation that the Clearys were coming here etc. there must have been the temptation to blurt it out.

Nick did what he has always does when he wants to shut down speculation by doing the unexpected and re-signing the current coach.
That quickly ended the Clearys coming to Roosters stories.
Doesn't mean it wont happen down the track, Robbo would have clauses in his contract to get us to a Grand Final.
