the other thing about robbo, bellamy too, maybe bennett, they rarely blame the ref, they leave the onus on the players rightly or wrongly, and for the most part refereeing does not decide 95 % of games players do, even though reading some posts on here you would not believe that.

But I still think it's in Nathan's best interests to sign with us. Ivan has to stay with the Tigers - he's signed with them and to go back to the Panthers, like a dog returning to its vomit, would leave him with little credibility or authority. He'll be seen by the players as getting a job because his son is a gun.
Perhaps the Tigers will up the ante and offer Ivan a year or two more with the understanding that Nathan will follow in 2020. Would be hard to compete with that, but Nathan is his own man and his future shouldn't be tied to his old man getting a job.

I’m not sold on Cleary as a future superstar. He is a mature player, and seems very composed, but I don’t think his skill set is extraordinary. It will be very interesting to see how he performs in the next few weeks without Jimmy & under pressure for a top 4 berth.

They were talking about moving Keary to halfback and Munster to 5/8. Can’t see that working. Keary isn’t an organising half, more the running half.
Anyway, just a rumour. First things first. Let’s win this years comp and next years. 2020 is a long way off. So much water to go under the bridge.

Munster? Good player but no thanks. Prefer Keary at 5/8. We need a solid 7 for 2020 and beyond

in today's courier mail
THE Broncos have landed a blow on the Sydney Roosters in the lead-up to their round 24 blockbuster next week by winning a tug of war for boom halfback Sean O’Sullivan.
Blindside first detailed Brisbane’s pursuit of O’Sullivan last month and it can now be revealed the Broncos have secured the services of the 19-year-old on a two-year deal.
O’Sullivan scored a try on debut against the Gold Coast in July and is set to play his fourth career game against the Raiders on Sunday in Canberra.
While Broncos coach Wayne Bennett is happy with first-choice halves Anthony Milford and Kodi Nikorima, he is keen to add depth to his squad and O’Sullivan will bolster their scrumbase options next season.
The rookie playmaker is the son of former Storm and Roosters recruitment boss Peter O’Sullivan, the man who famously signed Greg Inglis as a teenager in Kempsey.
O’Sullivan Sr was renowned as one of the code’s best scouts but had his reputation tarnished by the Storm salary cap scandal in 2010.
Aside from Bennett’s aura, family ties helped deliver O’Sullivan to Red Hill.
Broncos prop Matt Lodge is in a long-term relationship with his sister Jessica and the couple had their first child, a boy, late last year, making O’Sullivan an uncle.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
It's called experience.
