Surely they cannot be serious as both Officials have been in the headlines this year for the wrong calls and decisions that costs one team two points. Funny enough the 3 games that were in question all involved the Broncos in which they were the team to get the two points....

Broncos vs Tigers, Broncos vs Bulldogs and Broncos vs Roosters.

Yes. Cecchin blows more penalties than any other referee in the NRL. He was the one reffing the Melbourne vs Cronulla game where there were 33 penalties. He is a very arrogant referee who continually treats players with contempt and feels like he has to make his mark on every game to feed his ego

Im surprised to know Cecchin blows the most penalties in the NRL. I thought he was always applauded for getting a feel of the game and blowing minimum penalties accordingly and letting the game flow. Im obviously wrong and have to stand corrected

I personally hope they trash origin with penaltys.

Fox won the superleague war. Steps:
1. Go in by force and split the comp.
2. Come back with an independent organiser.
3. Stack the independent organiser with their puppets and pip the oldies (besides one... wait for him to grow old and senile then vote him out)
4. Use this power to make sure Fox ALWAYS get exclusive rights (otherwise - sack the CEO), Fox tech is used (e.g. the bunker) and Fox rules are implemented (e.g. 7 tackles, no shoulder charges, bunker can make calls whenever they like...etc).
5. When you get caught using this to systematically rig 4 premierships through a propped up Melbourne expansion venture (which QRL are on board with because their main source of $$$ is Origin), claim you knew nothing and sack the Storms CEO as a scapegoat. Then... make another independent organiser, run by your puppets under the guise of cleaning up the mess YOU created.

Ironically Brisbane seem to have a deal going on with Channel 9. Not sure how that fits in with all this but I suspect they are basically allowed to have all Friday night games and a biased ref on their side...
1. So that QLD doesnt fold or renege on their support for the NRL puppets (they are one club but a very important club for the viability of the comp - without them and there feeders the comp has no Melbourne team and mostly NSW teams).
2. So that Channel 9 dont gang up with Brisbane and bid more than Fox for the TV rights. Instead, they can cheaply acquire rights to Friday night Brisbane games (i.e. most brisbane viewers... BIIIIG market) and Origin. Channel 9 NEED Friday night to be a spectacle because Brisbane fans wont accept a news cycle that involves a Cooper Cronk led Eastern Sydney team crushing Brisbane while on page 2 James Roberts gets done for using drugs and assaulting some chick in a bar. They wont accept it and News Ltd cant AFFORD it because that means losing QLD and Melbourne from the comp.
