That prick loves turning on a good performance against us as well. Is he not playing? I wish that we had made a play at him a few years ago

We are always good for a 10-2 hiding on the penalty county over in NZ

Against all odds and expectations we will buck the trend and beat the Worriers at home and make a statement ! Go the chooks

Fair point, it makes sense that other teams improve their discipline when they play us. They pretty much decide to stand onside, not hold us down in the tackle, stand square at marker because over the last 10 years we have been such a poor team that there is no need to infringe the rules.

Let’s see if not having SKD and Pearce to fcuk the match up at the very end like last year makes a difference. Although Fergo is just like SKD now, and Cronk needs to get us into the position of winning to start with.

We are not at home but when we play at home under Checchin we have won the last 11 under him.

I think we will actually get a fair go under him......

                Warriors by 6...........

seriously im a bit outraged at whats transpired this year, i admit i bought a bit into the hype albeit not initially, i am a pearce fan boy, not going to deny it, i felt he was treated very harshly by some on here and what he did right he seemed to given grudging credit, he had his faults no doubt , but his running , passing and defence were for the most part far above average kicking game wasnt bad but off fied he was poor, friend ive never really felt he was that good anyway, hell i thought segeyaro was superior a year or 2 back prob still do, that says something, now cronks been given 9 rounds and the team is worse this year then last, nobody can deny it, we dont even look close to the top teams this year, our defence is good, i just feel cronk is a real fish out of water at the roosters, hes such an organised disciplined player who was meant to bring structure to our chaos instead the chaos has somewhat engulfed him , pearce seemed able to work within the chaos better if it makes sense and he and keary were great together, i just cannot in no way see cronks stable influence in the team bar a kick or two and given hes been paid a million a year i expect more, maybe this seems unreasonable but blaming pearce for the semi final loss is unreasonable too, its not all cronks fault but hes not proving to be much of anything bar the odd good kick , hell luke walsh was good for that , maybe the forward pack is done, maybe the hookers past his use by date, maybe the new fullback s a fish out of water too at least hes trying, i dont know, but im thoroughly pissed about it, hell i got foxtel installed to watch all roosters games this year expecting re runs of 2013, sadly disappointed and i cant see it changing cronk aint in the same breath as a fittler or smith or lockyer or johns and sadly appears another melbourne player who appears far better then he actually is under concentration camp bellamy / smith , and i wouldnt mind so much if it wasnt eating up a million a year for a 34 yo, sadly im shaking my head, a bit in disbelief , this really sucks.

You said it yourself... "Cronk's been given 9 rounds".

We gave Pearce 9 years to prove himself so let's give Cooper a little longer than 9 weeks.

We gave a 17 year old 9 years and he delivered us a premiership, we don't have 9 years to give a 35 year old

                        I thought we gave him 10 or 11 ???
Time seems to pass too quick.
Mattyh deserves a proper response for all the effort he put into his post.
But I dunno what to say that others haven't already said.
                        It's a different world.
When I sat in the Turner stand at the sports ground, we cared about every game, not every premiership.
Only one bloody team wins every year!!!!!!!!!
Does that mean 15 coaches should be sacked at the end of each season?

                        I dunno.
                        I try.
I'm worn out too, but every Easts win is a win.
                        We rule......

Pearce didn't deliver us a premiership. People say the most stupid things.

He won a premiership for us and I can guarantee that spud from Melbourne we have won’t win one for us

Maloney and SBW won a premiership for us. Pearce had his usual deer in the headlights performance.

That spud from Melbourne is one of the greatest halfbacks of the modern era. And he's won 2 Premierships. 4 if you count the two stripped. And about 7-8 Origin series. And a couple of World Cups.

Slightly better resume than Mitchell Pearce.
