Only thing I miss about Pearcey was his willingness to take young players under his wing, and steer them in the right direction.

The problem is, the season could well be over already as things arent changing. If we played that prelim final with our current side today the result would be even worse. How scary is that?

‘Current form’ during the final series last year said we should have rolled them to make the GF. How did that work out again? On current form this year, they would more than likely roll us again.

The main reason I was glad to see the back of Pearce was this fine example... Regardless of team orders he just does what he wants.

Cronk seems completely useless without Smith and Slater. We were better off last year with Pearce. Keary was dangerous all year with him but just can’t get a combination going with Cronk.

That was always going to be the concern. There’s no denying Cronks talent but was that talent being magnified by the players around him previously? It’s looking more and more likely.

Yes, I mean round 10. That’s over one third the way through the season. Unless things improve you won’t need the phone call as we may not even make the finals.

Is there any chance before the 30th of June we can get Pearcy back returning Cronk to the Storm?
I must admit this year Pearce has not done a thing wrong at the Chooks.

Don’t miss Pearcy but miss the cash we wasted on 1/3 Cronk when we could have kept a top notch goal kicker and bought a better forward pack with the money. Instead we got a FB who can’t kick and a Cronk who’s useless without Smith & Slater who are his other 2/3. The $$ should have been invested in the forwards. Now we are waking up to that fact but too late.
