thats exactly what i think. Cooper had the best hooker of all time play alongside him, so he had a hooker who could control the tempo of a match and just really pick the right plays at the right time so cooper had less to worry about and would ride off that. So obviously here he hasnt got that, he doesnt even have a hooker who can provide good service lmao. Also, our forward pack is still a big problem. We have terrible go forward. From the manly game only cords and sst ran over 100 m.
    Napa- 81
    Liu-82
    JWH-75
    Tets-64
    Matto-62
    friend - 9 lmao.

So we need to improve overall including teddy and cooper.

Keary is way down on last years form as he doesn't know what is role is anymore. Cords - well someone needs to get a passing/offload game into him as his game has really stagnated - this solely running game is too easy for the defence to read.

I would suggest when Crichton comes on board next year Cords will struggle to hold a spot in the team - Matto does have passing and balls skills if allowed to use them- Cords will be battling for a bench spot with Maubs in 2019 I suggest.
Please don't suggest Matterson will get a run before Cordner next year, coz it won't happen. With the size of Mattos body he should be busting the line once a game. Not no times a game.
Cordner is not going terrible. He is just so heavily marked and every team knows what he is doing. He is not running with less mongrel and his defence is still very good. The coach needs to help him out and change things up a bit. Matterson has nothing on him.

I have zero faith in the coach to change things up

I think a back row of Cords, Angus and Matto as lock would do pretty good. Matto has the size and skills.

Matto has the size but doesn't know how to use it. Do you sit in the stands thinking 'I hope they throw the ball to Matto' or 'I bet the opposition don't want to run at Matto'. I am not impressed by him at all. He is very slow in attack and whilst he makes a lot of tackles, he hits like a cuddly bear and misses quite a few as well. Crighton to the right, Cordner (on one knee) to the left and a real Lock at Lock.

What happened when the PeRce led. Ewcastle took on the Cronk led Roosters this year?

head to head who won that battle again?

for 6 years in head to head battles with one Jamie Soward Pearce was so dominated, the mercy rule should have been enforced

Who is this PeRce from Ewcastle? Maybe try again when you’re sober

Ask Peacre who Soward was, he was tolled up by him enough times

Ask Soward how many origins or minor premierships he’s won or played in. Pearce towelled him up enough times on results.

Cordner was a target for the beautiful flat right to left spiral Pearce used to throw. Cronk doesn't seem to have that in the kitbag (yet). That ball could hit Keary, Cordner, or Latrell, and some variation of it seemed to be good for a try a game. My point is there is no deception in play at the moment.

Pearce 3 MPs, 1 Premiership (Against Manly), Origin games won not many, origins lost a lot, no origin series won

Soward, 2 MPs, 1 Premiership (Against Roosters). Origins won I think nil, origin games lost 2 I think.

ANZAC Day Games Soward won one for the Roosters in 2007 and 5 for the Merge, total 6 and lost 2. Pearce has won 3 and lost 7 all up.

FInals other than GFs Pearce has won more and probably lost more but head to head Soward got it over Pearce in the QF Final for the Riff against the Roosters kicking the field goal which won them the game...

I am no Soward lover or Pearce hater but putting results in big games against each other in perspective.....
