Keary is way down on last years form as he doesn't know what is role is anymore. Cords - well someone needs to get a passing/offload game into him as his game has really stagnated - this solely running game is too easy for the defence to read.
I would suggest when Crichton comes on board next year Cords will struggle to hold a spot in the team - Matto does have passing and balls skills if allowed to use them- Cords will be battling for a bench spot with Maubs in 2019 I suggest.

Yes.. Because he would have had 8 years of playing in the same system that he created. Pearce very well could have been playing better. But then what? We finish top 4 and get edged out back to back games in the semis because we have no game management, short kicking game to build pressure or any ability to kick a field goal (until last year). We've bought cronk to get results at the business end of town and I expect he will. Whether we win the comp is another matter as I don't believe we are comp favourites, either now or pre season. But I expect us to be top 4 and in that case people can't argue that Pearce would have been any better. Cronk is a two year proposition.

He’s in terrible form committing extremely costly errors. Tedesco too has been a complete waste compared to Gordon who won us heaps of matches last season with goals and tries. So far these two new recruits have brought nothing new to the table and we are struggling more now than last season.Last edited by Bigchook; 05-08-2018, 02:43 PM.

On the whole I think it's the coaching of the side that's hindering their performance. St George and Newcastle play very different attacking football to us. They play ad lib footy and can score try's across the park. We seem to be so set in our structures and its not working. Cronks fault or robbos? I think their have been a few cracks in robbos game since before cronk arrived.
