I don’t think so. They had a try that was later confirmed as a no try and we should have been awarded a penalty try and one of theirs given 10 minutes in the sin bin. That’s 12 points. You’re looking then at 18-14 and so it wasn’t a decisive win. If referred properly we were in it and could have won. The refs kept scum in the game. They aren’t that good as the press makes out.

Friend has kinda gone downhill THAT much..........................IMO

Or are you not just contending he is the only problem, but also that he is having a career worst year?
I never said I was contending he is the sole problem, just the major one.
And yes, the poor bastard appears to be experiencing a "career worst year".............IMO

Well it's the coaches job to fix problems, then the players job to exercuit.

So I guess Robbos plan was to have him kick long twice in a row for 7 tackle sets? He executed that plan very well indeed!

Makes pearcy’s Performances over the years stand out more considering he got similar service from our dummy half

If Pearce was playing like Cronk is at the moment he’d be getting absolutely hammered for it.

Makes less tackles than Pearce, misses more (made 14 missed 3 yesterday including one on the line for Uate’s first try), 2 kicks dead for 7 tackle sets (one on the 3rd tackle) plus the usual zero line breaks, line beak assists and try assists.

Can’t blame all that on Jake folks.

Spot on. The excuses for Cronk are amazingly bad. How long until the lovefest for our shiny new toy is over and people wake up and see he is Fatty Vautin 2.0

I guess we are in disagreement (for the moment).

For the record, do you think he was awful against Manly?
I didn't see him put a foot wrong, except he adds nothing in attack (always been that way).

Awful would be too harsh, I've seen him play a lot worse games this year.
But he ain't the Jake of old.
He went through a stage a few seasons back where he did offer something in attack.
I think his time is just about up, but he's been a great servant to our club.

Then we are in violent agreement. Personally I do not think he ever added quality in attack. Even a few seasons ago. When he did try to be a foil for Schnitz, he often over played his hand. I have always expected a poor outcome from a Friend kick, for example.

When the Friend bashing started anew this year, I was very supportive of him. What's changed for me is the lack of his prior ability to stop an opposition front rower in his tracks. He has always needed another bloke in the tackle to slow down the ruck or stop an offload, but, as others have said, he seems to get on the bus for a ride 5m downfield this year.

                          Glad I am not Robbo.

Not sure how I'd go up against someone with flipper hands. Sounds deadly.

I can't believe people are bringing up Pearce again. Pearce has done nothing to crow about yet at the Knights. Big deal he helped them win a few games at the start of the season when there was no pressure on the team. Everyone expected the Knights to get beat. There is a reason why Pearce got the punt, he cannot aim up in big games, he was even terrible when we applied the blow torch on him early this year. Pearce is a good front runner, tends to play great in the first 40 minutes of a match, often goes missing in the second 40 minutes.

The other thing that is even funnier, those people who have a go at those bagging Friend, and claiming these people are placing the blame on one player. They claim he is going alright, then they say it is all Cronks fault. The irony is hilarious.
                              ...

                                Yep I'm sure.
No need to worry, you'd just cop a couple wet slaps. And then I'd spill the ball over the try-line or something equally ridiculous.
