Well probably the lesson here is that premierships aren't won in rd 8 and that players who come to the club need time to fit in, no matter who they are.
Id have to say that back in 2013 if you saidThe Roosters would sign a coach who in 6 seasons will deliver 2 premierships and 4 minor premierships then you would have to be pretty happy.

So bring on 2019 and after 10 rounds when we have won only a few games because of premiership hangover then we can all call for Robbos sacking and class Crichton as a dud buy!!!

Ok except maybe Napa lol He was a bit of a freeloader in the finals and still has plenty to prove in a Roosters jersey.

But I take back everything I ever said about Jake Friend and apologise sincerely. Same for Toops.

They played the finals series of their lives and I'll never be an armchair critic towards any of them ever again.

This 2nd Premiership seals their place as untouchable Roosters legends.
