Spot on, although I wasn’t posting on here at that time, I wanted Sheck in the 1, I did not want Mini gone, just moved to the wing, the fullback evolved at the back end of minis career, his biggest fan could not deny ball playing was not his strength, much like the hooking role has evolved, all players and coaches need to keep up with the game, rule changes, interchange changes are happening all the time, like Pearce, Mini now Friend, no one doubts their effort, execution under pressure and keeping up with the times is the real issue

i still would have loved to see how pearce handled hooker, with cronk at half, maybe ot wouldnt have worked with too many chefs spoiling the broth and pearce having an additonal defensive workload , but gee if somehow it couldve worked and no ego involved man it couldve potentially been lethal , cronk, pearce, keary of course very hypothetical but wouldve been very very interesti ng to watch , much more so then what weve seen this season imo

It couldn't have been any worse than what we have now. Would like to see Baptise get a run sooner rather than later.

Baptiste can be an asset off the bench when ready, interesting to see when that is..

when you see McGuiness and Clarke being touted as origin favourites for the hooking spot its not much of a stretch to think that Pearce would have been a revelation if he moved to the nine. I have always thought Pearce was a lock or a hooker, bloody shame we didn't get to see what would have happened with Pearce, Cronk, Keary and Teddy as our spine.

Problem is Baptiste would probably get the bench spot in place of Radley, which will send this place into meltdown again, and poor Friendy up for a lynching and stoning. I can't see a bench where both Baptiste and Radley play a role.

Unless Friend moves to lock with Radley at 9,but doubt that will happen..

I remember the Wall wanting to get rid of Adrian Morley and Brett Mullins, early on in 2002 ...

Yeah Finch was a coaching issue. Not the player’s fault. There was nothing “right” about all the invective hurled at the player by some of the fans.

                        You think so?
I thought lock would suit him based on his defence first mentality..

Look at how many clubs Finch played for - often sacked before his contract was out. Speaks for itself.

And he was just as crap at Melbourne.

BTW the media is picking up on Friend at the moment a lot more than they ever did on Finch.

Cooper Cronk and Tara Rushton have just announced that they're having a baby, due in August.
Tara says that she had a lot of nausea, but the last six weeks have been much easier.
Clearly she likes the look of Cooper in the RWB.

                            Congratulations to them both.

Hopefully he can turn his focus into adding some penetration to our attack now.

No doubt he'll continue to make a potent contribution.
