I suspect I'd be in the minority here, but if I had to choose between the two problem children I'd prefer Carney to Greg Bird. As far as bad behaviour goes, at least Carney's only a danger to himself at present. Plus, I just don't think Bird's got that "X" factor Carney has (when Carney's "on", of course), although he is a great player.
