There was one instance in the 1st half where we were rolling forward with momentum and rather than Cronk receiving the pass from Friend in front of him, on the advantage, it went behind him meaning Cooper had to stop, reach back and take it in which nullified the attacking raid.
This same thing has happened since RD1. Not good enough. TRobbo needs to react. IMO i would start with Radley or Baptiste and bring Friend on after 25mins and replace him mid 2nd half.

I am genuinely interested in who this club sees as their best 17 though and will probably find the appropriate thread to scroll through. As someone who doesn't follow the Roosters I was surprised to see the vitriol directed to Friend on this forum. Every club's forum has their scapegoat after all. But I'll definitely follow him more closely now.

from msn today;
However, it was one-way traffic thereafter in front of a crowd of 14,493 at Allianz Stadium, more than half of whom seemed to be Warriors supporters.
The Warriors big men laid the platform, with Stephen Kearney's side running for 1345m compared with the Roosters' 834m.
And Green put the icing on the cake.
#####
Immigration...don't ya just love it?
Too big, too strong, too fast.
And Green ran all over us, including Keary.
Can we ever run 1345m while the opposition run 834m?
Until we can, and until we can be 'too big, too strong, too fast'...then we'll simply be also-rans in the competition.Last edited by bondi.boy; 04-01-2018, 10:52 AM.

Watching the replay now...
Warriors first try...Latrell and Robinson both rushed up out of the defensive line, thereby allowing the Warriors players to get in behind them and waltz over the try line.
Someone should tell them to stop doing that.

The Roosters were looking as good as ever up until the 10th minute when they went on the attack with another sweep play exactly the same as the previous one that they scored a try from but Latrell dropped the ball. Within one set the Warriors scored their first try & Blake Green took control, it was all down hill from there. The Warriors defence was what beat the Roosters. The Warriors were under the pump severely on their own line just before half time & played the ref beautifully continually giving away penalties stopping the Roosters from getting any cohesion & in the end the Roosters had to go for a shot at goal. The way Blake Green controlled the game you would think he was actually Cooper Cronk, he was outstanding.
Things just did not go the Roosters way the bounce of the ball on at least 4 occasions from Warriors kicks were just freakish, when luck is on your side like that it just becomes impossible to stop. The Warriors are no longer a basket case & that trainer they got who has previously been at the Storm & the Broncos has been instrumental in getting them fit & getting them to do those 1 percenters that they never used to do.
Last but not least what a fantastic hit by Radley that was 100% legal after he had dropped the ball the set before. It showed he new he had stuffed up but was determined to make amends.
Look forward to next week.

We scored an early try and then Fergo throws a bullet at SST's head.
Hardly saw the ball for the next 15-20 mins had to do a lot of tackling against a very committed and good footy team. Some forced passes and silly mistakes with the ball when we had it made it worse. We tried to force the issue too early and maybe the early try plus last week's win made us go away from playing hard rugby league before we can play pretty rugby league.
A lot of the 50/50 calls went against us plus some of our forwards didnt quite aim up or still look underdone in Boyd Cordner's case.
End result is a right royal flogging but you have to remember the Warriors had about 20 percent more ball than the Roosters and that does take its toll.
Jake needs to play less minutes for mine, Reece Robinson had a shocker but do we go back to the Maubs in the centres and wingers on the bench yet? Not sure if I would resort to that just yet. Perhaps give Robinson one more week to redeem himself.
If there are any changes I would probably slot SST to the backrow (his best spot is lock but he would be better on the edges than Matto. In fact I would drop Matto, I am not a fan, he looks like Tarzan and plays like a cross between a bad version of Anasta and Jane. Bring in Faumaselli to play off the bench as part of the prop rotation. Start with Jared and Napa and see if they can fire up against Gallen's Sharks.
Agree with the Brain the Warriors appear to be playing with the Smith influence and Corvo has done wonders with their fitness
Victor Radley, I am a huge fan, he is everything that is Matto is not including the size difference. I wouldnt be surprised to see him starting on the edge later in the season with SST and Liu back as the lock rotation,Last edited by Parkway_Drive; 04-02-2018, 12:28 PM.Originally posted by boogie

Yeo but in matto's defence he was a back adjusting to becoming a forwards....Dont think our forwards coach who ever it is is doing his job I could train the priick in two visits. Matto is ok but should be a hell of a lot better. He hasnt been taught .He should be the no1 offloader with his size ...and he is not! bad coaching.
