We didn't put pressure on them and that was the story. Not enough repeat sets to establish a flow. On the other hand we gifted them with the same. And then we panicked...kicks out on the full. Three moments from the end of the first half, start of the second, cooked our goose. One was RTS diving to stop Latrell when he'd cut then wide open. A try then would have boosted our confidence and put us back in the game. Then when we did manage some pressure, due to them giving goal line penalties away, we had no-one running at the line, it was too much lateral movement. Friend trying a grubber on the last that was SO predictable and just bounced off the legs of the defence. And we were reduced to 2 points to trail 18-6 at the break. 18-10 would have made a big difference. The third moment was giving away an early penalty in the first set of six to give them the momentum starting the second half. And it was 24-6....game over.

Tough game, guys.
As a suffering Warriors fan it's too easy to blow a win out of proportions. Especially when we were going in without S.Johnson, S.Mannering, J.Gavet, S.Lisone and G. Beale.
I was wondering how much injuries you guys were struggling with? I noticed no Tupou (Robinson had an absolute shocker) but am not familiar enough with the rest of the team.

better get used to it as the chooks wont win the comp with this squad or head coach - too much invested in too few players- development to NRL standard has stagnated and reactionary recruitment and retention policies have severely weakened the squad and depth - even one injury to Toops has caused massive issues as Robinson is not up to NRL so Robbo's only alternative is to put Maubs back as centre - if he's injured then Matto - if both injured whose next Cordner??
