Pearce wins the game and played well and Cronk was average today one has to say - Still don't agree with the decision to sign Cronk and let Pearce go and Watto too - The revamp of the squad was needed in the Forwards - props and backline - centre/wingers for instance- Latrell looks like he will be the main goal kicker with SST backup?? whether that works is another question and a position that may need filling in 2019.

Im not defending either of them but fact is, Pearce starred in a gutsy win with a side coming off 3 straight spoons whereas our new half kicked a 40/20, got a repeat set and did pretty much nothing more in a side losing to one of the premierships favs for the spoon.
I know who looks better after round one but there’s a long way to go so who knows what will happen?

AOriginally posted by Gary Worthless View PostThought Cronk was our second best player today after Fergo. Cronk must have been wondering what the hell has he signed up for with all of our stupid penalties and errors which we fans of course are completely used to.
He looked happy at halftime though on FOX, which was a relief

I saw Reynolds crying in front of me after the game and yelled out 'WHAT ARE YOU CRYING ABOUT?!?!? GO SAY SORRY TO COOPER YOU GRUB!!!' He looked up at me with a pretty broken looking face.

So arguably they were in sudden death in the first place because of pearce wrong decision in closing it out at 18-16. No thanks.

Pearce never wanted to leave the club and that's a fact - The Club forced him to leave in the end by making his position at the club untenable - something I feel the Club may regret even after one game. To say many players were unhappy about this is an understatement and well Robbo may still end up paying the price for this decision - Players are pretty loyal to each other and they ultimate decide the fate of the coach as you all know - i.e whether they stay or go via on field performances - I will be watching with interest as this further develops in season 2018.Last edited by King Salvo; 03-10-2018, 09:45 PM.

How quickly we forget Pearce game management, where he bombed it back to manly on halfway and they then got the penalty close enough to level at 18-18, flashbacks to the Warriors game last season.

We are in danger of becoming the transit lounge again.
On tonite's performance, Cronk is no better than Pearce...on the field.
Same lollipop kicks straight to the fullback on the 5th...that were so annoying from Pearce.
No high bombs, no skidding kicks on the 5th...I was expecting better.
