  • Pearce > Cronk

Cronk did a nice 40-20. What else? A bunch of bombs that went straight to the fullback. Not much else.

We are in danger of becoming the transit lounge again.

As well as a 40/20 he got a repeat set which was something Pearce can't do... So for mine Cronk > Pearce.

Nah. I’m serious. Cronk is a straight up and down plodder who has been made to look good in the Melbourne structure.

Pearce is a far more dynamic player.

Our worst fears were realised today.

I'm not going to weigh in on cronk yet, don't totally disagree with Maxy tho, but the premise chucked around on here about him lifting the team 20% ala SBW I'm not sold on

Friend can be his worst enemy

Cronk had a good game today.
We can't expect him to beat teams on his pat malone.

ROFLMAO at you if you think origin has anything to do with it.

I thought he was decent today behind a plodding pack. I got pounded last year for voicing similar reservations about Cronk.

He may be no saviour, but I'm going to enjoy seeing if he is.

I think the point is, he isn't in Kansas anymore.

Yes, all achieved within Melbourne structure, more or less, with Cam Smith at hooker.

Pearce would've torn that structure apart.

Thought Cronk was our second best player today after Fergo. Cronk must have been wondering what the hell has he signed up for with all of our stupid penalties and errors which we fans of course are completely used to.
