Ponga the star, Pearce rubbish as usual, his bombs and grubbers were very mediocre. So glad he's gone.

That may have been the first time I've actually been pumped to see another team win a game... I feel dirty.

You can see the structure Pearce gave to their side almost instantly, they played so direct. Their second rowers in tight hitting the right lines, their second receivers ala Ponga getting the ball two passes wide of the ruck, one on one at the right times. Felt too much like watching a Roosters game, even more so with the familiar faces.

Watched the game and was happy for Pearce and the Knights. I expected them to fold against Manly but they were resilient and that guy the FB was brilliant. It was almost a rooster B Team.

I watched the game, had a chuckle when Pearce threw that ball at guerra and he dropped it on the try line, then SKD coughed the ball up, it brought back some frustrations.

glad Pearce kicked the field goal after a few attempts, he would have been crucified if he didn’t, cos knights had about 5 straight sets at manly to finish them off, then Pearce goes for a clearing kick, kicks it into a manly player, manly get the ball about 30 out, get a penalty, and tie the game.

It would be sensational playing in Newcastle in front of a big home crowd & kicking the winning field goal in your first game. Well done Pearcey.

Th bogan waxhead slapper is hardly going to improve Pearce’s game. Pearce is in Newcastle cause they offered him the most. And who could blame him.

Very happy for Pearce and the Knights.

I don't know how any Roosters fan could have ill feelings toward the man. He gave his all for our jersey.

And I must say it still feels weird that he isn't a Rooster anymore!

SKD just there to retire. Has no passion playing for that rubbish club.
