        Sydney Roosters
        • Luke Keary (broken jaw, round 2)

Luke Keary suffered a broken jaw at training in January and is unlikely to be fit for the club's opening round clash with the Wests Tigers, with Mitch Cornish named to start at five-eighth this week.

Thankyou, but I'm sure I'll be OK.
I have dealt with pain before.

When did Cornish get names at 5/8th? Everything I have seen has Keary at 6.

On another note would be a tad confusing if we signed Nathan Cleary, our halves would Keary and Cleary!

Will be interesting to see how Robinson rotates his forwards. From all reports Matterson will be playing at 2nd row.

Doesn't look like a drastically different bench but if Matterson is there as a 2nd rower it will mean a change in the way he rotates his forwards or how he uses his utility.

Cords wont play full game I’d imagine. First match back. No trial. Robbo could start with cords plus either maubs or Matto for size in early exchanges. Either way he has 3 into 2 positions to play.

When the side came out on the Roosters site, and the NRL site. It was Fox and some of the news outlets that had Keary in and JWH on the bench, instead of Cornish @ 6 & Napa on the bench.

I'm keen to see how it pans out too. The use of the bench is a weakness in Trents repertoire I reckon.
Jared recently said he expected to start from the bench as his fitness isn't there just yet. Same for Cordner if he plays a full game.
Mostly keen to see how we go against Packer & Matulino in the middle, both sides props have plenty to prove.
                            ..it’ll be interesting to see

Toops will be coming off the bench to give the forwards a blow.
