    Lol

Morgan will probably be new Qld and Roos half. He has killed it for the Cows, Qld and Aust since JT got injured

His short kicking was a bit off, had a nice line break but both defenses scrambled and defended their lines well so halves didn't really get a chance to shine.

I think Cooper can think for himself and is confident enough to make his own choices. I doubt the club has made it a condition considering we needed his services more than he needed the club. Cooper held all the cards since he was wanted by all the clubs.

This puts to bed the doom scenarios crew that we'd be in trouble when SOO came around. Cooper is fully committed to the club!

Anyone being critical of Cooper or even smith or Slater in this WC, and by that I don't mean you, has to understand they all had a big year winning everything. Looking at Smiths face in the last 15 I thought he aged about 20 years. He was bugged.

If the fans ever needed proof of how dedicated Cooper is to the success of the "team", they just got it. Gone are the days of sub standard post origin performances. And Cooper was great in his final representative game.

Great news for us but I’d be dirty as hell if I wasn’t a Roosters fan. How come some players get the option of saying ‘I won’t be playing Origin’ while others have to play if picked?

But meh, I’m a Roosters and NSW fan so really don’t give a fark. Best news all week!

He has the option because he's done his bit. Jamie Lyons also didn't play origin or international and he didn't give a toss. Other fans can only be envious not dirty.

He'll be 34 come next Origin series with about 30 Origin games and 38 Tests to his name.

I'd say he's served his time.

Just like Freddy did when he retired from rep footy as young as 30 from memory. Though he did come back for Games II and III in 2004.

And now Freddy is back again. Just can't keep a good man down Tommy.

                        Indeed.

And I reckon Freddy can be NSWs version of Mal Meninga. A confident, commanding personality and Blues legend who'll instill huge belief in the talented crop coming through.

Obviously he won't win 9 series in a row like Qld but I reckon he can win at least 3 series in the next 5 years.

There was a period in the game with Smith from memory there was about 18 to go where we had the ball and he was deadset walking to dummy half every play the ball in the set of 6 It was around that time I thought to myself we are going to have to keep them to 0 here to ensure we win

Great news as at his age he would not have been able to back up after each Origin game if he played on. Bellamy started resting the big 3 this year after each Origin as it's just getting too hard for them to back up.

The only decision he could make.
