Pearce plays where at the Sharks if Maloney leaves - 5/8- not his position- man as silly as saying that Pearce will go to the Knights or Maloney for that matter- they have already have two halves in Hodgo and Cogger and two 5/8's in Lamb and Watson at the Knights - fit 5 into 2??- If he goes to Sharks and Maloney stays -he fill have to fight for the half back role with Townsend a premiership winning Sharks half - Goes to Manly and plays second Fiddle to DCE- Robbo should be the one going

Because he would be wanting to play SOO again perhaps - wont be selected from the ESL unlike Langer was

I didnt see the foxtel show tonight but from reading here and on the social media it appears there is a growing expectation that Pearce will stay.

I don't think it is a good move by the Roosters or him to stay, he is on 800k and that is a ridiculous amount to pay for a bench player.

Sterlo put it well when he said if he was 28 and a veteran of 240 NRL games there is no way he will be playing off the bench, he is a top tier half still, even if he falls short of the champions like Thurston, Cronk and other very very good players such as Morgan.

Plus we need more grunt in the middle and that money will be better spent there for starters.
Sterlo has more of an idea than Robbo has even saying they should not sign Cronk at all but they did - Sterlo has a very soft spot for the Chooks because of Big Jack Gibson and Judy Gibson along with the rest of the 3 time premiership Eels players under Big Jack and even saying the Chooks premiership side of 1975 was the best club side he has ever seen. Big Jack would not be doing this bringing in Cronk to replace Pearce for sure and certain- Big Jack was a players coach not a Administration coach if you get my drift and would of stood up to Politis saying no to signing Cronk
