BTW, i think the comparison of Pearce supporters to Trump supporters is a good one.

I must be one of the odd ones out, I'm a Trump supporter, and definitely not a Pearce fanboy

Trump promises and delivers

Pearce shows promise but fails to deliver

that is not his fault, it is the fault of his fanboys and dads footy mates in media that put expectations on him that Only a limited few can reach.

I feel Pearce supporters are more like Turnball and Shorten supporters,

hope for the best, expect the worst,

Cheer and let the world know when something great happens, blame someone else if it goes to shit.

Pray every night thinks will get better

They know there are better candidates, just can't let go

and finally, great at manipulating figures and stats to push their agenda only to dismiss those same stats when they prove something else
