  • Liu has lifted to another level in the past month or so.

Apart from arguably the brain snap of the season, Fergo has also.

Friend should be fined $10K each time he kicks the ball.

    • We are a massive jeckle and hyde football team. First 20 minutes crisp passing all out in front ,players charging onto ball everyone on the same page. Then we get a lead and we stop playing footy looking clunky and disjointed in attack and defence. I can only put it down to being mentally not up to the pressure of leading. Maybe we need some pre season boot camp army type mental strenght training. Craig bellamy is big on this. I dont have a clue what it is but thats all i can come up with.

      • So does this mean we play at Allianz in the GF qualifier?

However Brisbane handed that game to us on a platter yesterday and we refused to take it. It was bizarre. Our spine and on field leaders need to fix this ASAP or a team like Cronulla or Storm will punish us in that period.

Brisbane played like a park football team. Thank god for a freak of nature in Lattell, or Easts would have been on every backpage in the country with a choker tag.
what a load of bollocks 2nd on the table one win from a grand final and still finding room to whinge and diminish the team achievement absolute nonsense

But we're not. In fact, as frustrating as this team has been, they've proven to be anything but chokers. When the pressure is on (and I agree we create most of that pressure ourselves) we lift and we win. Last week it really was a "park football team". This week it was a Broncos team that we bludgeoned into submission.

This isn't the 2013 Roosters or even the 2014 or 2015 Roosters. They are still a work in progress. They have exceeded all expectations this year and I couldn't be happier. (Actually that's not true - ask me in three weeks time and I might be even happier.)

No not necessarily Allianz. We are only guaranteed a game in Sydney I believe. It could be either Homebush or Allianz.

Yes, you're right. It's a home city venue. Interestingly, if we end up playing Parramatta and the NRL chooses Homebush, they'd effectively be giving them a home ground advantage.

I think more than likely it will be Homebush. If Melbourne win today they will get the other home prelim. So if only one prelim in Sydney then Homebush would get preference as the bigger venue. I think...

Either Melbourne, Parra, Sharks or Cowboys.

                        • I think we will be at Allianz unless we play Parra then the NRL will want and push for the game to be played at Homebush. I really dont think it will affect us as if we play well, we can beat Parra anywhere.

                          • Boogie, it depends on who wins out of storm / parra.
Storm wins we plan either Parra or Sharks / Cowboys.

Spot on and i think JT is correct re venue for the PF but I suspect there may be a push for Homebush if Parra end up being our opponent. The NRL will want the cash bonanza of a @60k plus crowd it will bring.
