We have top2/top4 on the line.. theyve spent millions on getting calls right

yet no one in bunker intervenes or tips to the ref the pass was forward

Professional sport. Granted human errors are made, but why not use technology or the refs in the bunker for blatant clear cut calls as that

Did not need a bunker to see it, the ref was inline with it and standing 5 yards away.

I just saw an article in the Canberra Times about our fave ref Cummins and his 300th game. It quotes him as saying 'I was at the Roosters the other day'. I wonder what that was all about? I also wasn't aware he comes from Canberra.

I agree but they still aren't getting the simple calls right yet. And it doesn't help when Archer continually comes out and says they 'followed the process' and came up with the right call when all common sense knows it was the wrong call.

Take our penalty try last week, Archer said they got it right. Probably the only person not wearing a purple jersey who thought that. Warren Smith went as far as to say they have now re-written the scope of a penalty try with that call and I agree. The bunker isn't consistent with anything, they lack common sense and their leader consistently makes a rod for his own back.

I'm not sure how you could justify giving them more responsibility atm.

In fairness we benefited from a similar pass in the 2013 Grand Final.

Also, what about our other 79 minutes? Can't blame the refs for that...

I'm glad the bunker can't rule on forward passes. That would be shit. Its just up to the in field refs to get it right. Between 4 of them they should be able to but somehow they don't always. Still better than having the bunker try to work it out from inconclusive camera angles
