Yep, there's a call for no send-offs, in the current hysterical 'poor billy' climate, because it makes it 12 v 13. What about the guys that play through injury.

For Daley, now that the dust has settled (and nobody wants the job lol) it wouldn't surprise me to see his noggin there again.

I heard Daley was actually extended for two years before game 2. The idiots were so sure they would win they were going to make a big announcement out of it after the game. Now they are trying to work out how to break the "news". But all that is not a problem if Daley comes out of his foetal position and decides not to go on.

Any player would do the same to play rep footy.
To be able to play a game of footy with the best of the best is every players priority. Playing SOO is considered the pinnacle of playing Rugby League, it's higher than playing for Australia.

Anyone who complains about Cordner being selfish should think again. He is one of our most dedicated and loyal players. There have been numerous times in the past where he has put in the really hard yards to overcome an injury in record time just to play for the roosters.

The Cowboys are pretty good even without Thurston.

They will target the two worst defensive centres in the NRL.

Unfortunately i think you're right about our centres, hence Maubs must play there to shut down one side. With our depths in the forwards when Cordner comes back surelynhe will move out there

Watching Hopoate fumble in-goal last night is the stuff of nightmares, only because it gave me visions of us having that sort of reaction in the exact same spot, against Cows, god help us.

Origin is a joke, way passed its used by date, just another game club players risk being injured, the NRL make a bucket load off it, maybe reimburse the clubs for loss of players salaries if they are injured during these games or at least have it recognised under the cap. Shit Go for the affected clubs

Origin is pretty damn close to the pinnacle of the game, actually it is. It is the best 34 players in any one game every year including the GF and any test match. Doesn't mean we are not sick of qld beating us every year or that is doesn't have its drawbacks for the club competition which we as supporters clearly care about so much more, it certainly does. But a joke it isn't and past its used by date is crazy talk. I agree the qld domination is bad for origin though much the same way NZ domination in rugby is killing that sport.

It is a joke, it is officiated differently, players and officials put it ahead of club and country, no compensation for club or fans when players are injured. Players scream to the RLPA that they are tired, play too much are burnt out etc etc, yet would prfer to play 3 origins than a club or international game.

It is the fans that suffer, bye rounds destroy the comp, having showpiece games decimated with Origin stars missing does nothing for the game.

I could not give a toss if Qld win or have dominated, have not watched an origin game in 5 years, poor reception here is Greece, do not miss it at all, but i do miss Boyd Cordner running around in the Red, White and Blue

On these injuries, did anyone hear C Smith say he'll decide on Sunday if he plays. Reckon he's waiting to see if we win, then he'll play, & vice versa. At the business end now, here is where Robbo should thrive, planning the Top 2, and loved how Mini said our run in is tough but that's what we want!
