SCG Trust clearly wants to tear down the SFS - whats does this mean for us?

This was all supposed to have been sorted out a few months ago when Baird got involved. I can't believe anyone is seriously considering spending a Billion dollars just to move the SFS 50 metres to the left.
If we move out to Homebush even temporarily, that'll do it for me - I won't go out there. There are no pubs for starters.

short term pain doesnt equal long term gain the bears also had short term pain in the 90s looking to secre their future and got chopped if we are struggling we will be in big trouble with survival despite what people here think representing the city and the east is not important to the nrl the money and the future in their estimations lie in the west i dont ever see the wests tigers folding they might rebrand and move permanently to the campbeltown area but they will never fold completely i think the teams on the chopping block will be canterbury and us and they have a much larger fanbase than we do politis needs to play his cards right here and not make threats that are detrimental to our future because permanently playing out of olympic park will be a death sentence for us

Would be a nightmare trying to schedule us and the swans for a winter season, and you know they wouldn't give an inch. they might not even want a full league season played there for the damage it would cause to the ground for the cricket season.
politis has stated we'd have to move to ANZ. I am sure he wouldn't want to give the SCG trust any revenue if they are going to kick us out for years.
If we did move to ANZ, I'm confident we'd come home again. If we shifted a lot of games to central coast though I could see us permanently splitting our games with Gosford

What is far more urgent, is a redevelopment of Stadium Australia (ANZ).
It is easily the worst ground in the country to watch a game of Rugby League, Union or Soccer, and until they redevelop it properly so it's actually designed for rectangular field sports it'll always be so.
I despise going to games out there.
