i agree 100% with you JC.. but the game is at risk of gambling syndicates and the game needs to ensure no one passes on leading information that could find it in the hands of wrongdoers. That's why phones were supposed to be banned from dressing rooms. There should be a strong warning or fine. If PEARCE did it would he cop a warning?

Yep fair enough.
I wonder if there is a procedure in place tho to advise family he is ok. So that the two matters are taken care of.

In regards to the NRL taking action against McGuire (I think it was), from a legal stand point they would never win that.
Solicitor, " Didn't you just advise my client that due to him being concussed and not being in a right and normal state of mind, he could not go back onto the field? We agree 100% with that decision. So then how can you determine my client is responsible for his actions when he is, by agreement, heavily concussed?"

Once again tho, it's hard to enforce a penalty on someone they have just confirmed is suffering concussion.
