sounds like certain players giving info to bookies etc.. theres that nrl fixation with gambling again intruding into our game, dont tell me certain refs are not involved too much mega money on offer? this will eventually break and certain refs or ex refs then will be enjoying free accomoda=tion and board at govt paid institutions! just put bars on the bunker now?

Agreed, its gotta go! The government bans tobacco companies from sponsoring sport so we get gambling and alcohol taking over. Which one's worse? They're all BS things that people can do while watching sport, all of which take away from what sport's all about!!! What you say?!?!? I dunno... FITNESS, HEALTH, ATHLETICISM...etc? Fark me, professional sport shouldn't have to be told that there's a serious conflict between sports and such habits.

Not saying ban the booze or whatever... but have advertising that's gonna steer kids towards getting fitter or smarter rather than drinking beer and having a punt [as quickly as possible] gamble responsibly is surely a better image? Baaah, it's all BS! It's all one big fix!! Conspiracy I say... :P
