  • Gordon re-signs

    One year extension. Just announced.

    Fabulous news for mine.

Fergo can go jump and we can give Flash the right wing spot. Would help Manu no end, and keeps the goal kicking good while we sort that option out for 2019.

    Great news.
Ferguson can go and rip off another club and never win anything. No need to spend big money on a winger.
    Rooster Farian will be thrilled.

Seems like a great person to have around the club in general - I am sure they could find a suitable role for him once his playing days are over.

Outstanding. His leadership and goal kicking are crucial. Not to mention his quality.

First Toops, now Gordon. What a great tonic after Saturday's thrashing.

Fergo can either leave or play reggies.

I don't think he has the speed to be a winger. And he isn't tall enough either.

But we will have to cop that for his goalkicking.

              Ultimate professional.
Great bloke off the field as well.
              Awesome news.

Did you see our goalkicking last year?

Unless we scored from in front it was a 4pt try.

SST caught fire towards the end but he doesn't play the 80 and he's injury prone.

There are few things more demoralising than not having a good goalkicker.

It should also be noted that Gordon will be a great back up to Teddy for the no.1 during Origin and if he's injured.

Contrary to popular opinion Teddy hasn't had too many injuries the past 3 or so years but if he goes down for a month then having Gordon there will be damn handy.

Lol he's been one of our best if not our best player this season, an extra season at not too much money presumably is a great deal and fantastic for the club.

Just a depth signing imo. Earlier this season his goal kicking was shit and he looked slow and bombed at least two tries. However, I think he has been much better recently. Guess he will fill in when Teddy plays Origin or in the case of injury. I guess he could function as a winger.

did you see his goal kicking in the first month or two of this season particularly when he missed one from right in front you might be easily impressed by a mid 30s re-signing depth player but i am not he should be nothing more than a depth option next year

He was carrying a groin injury then Boogie. Now he is healthy, he is kicking, and playing, very well.

He hasn't signed to play reserves. He played many years on the wing with much success. Despite being older now I don't think it will be a problem for him.
