I was at the game and though Collins went OK. He ran into contact with gusto, and put on a few decent hits.

I actually thought SST was fairly quiet.

I'll have to watch the game again and see if it comes up differently in the TV coverage.

I was pleasantly surprised with young Collins in his debut.

Definitely something to work with for the future.

I thought the same. he is young and raw and has plenty of time to improve.

Sst was outstanding. 80 mins only weeks after recovering from significant injury.
Special mention to Gordon, matto. Pity they could not win for jake but I'm sure the effort impressed.

Henry Peranara was the pick for the opposition

Matto had a great game. We have a lot of talent in the back row. Gordon was also fantastic.

              I was impressed by Collins
Like someone said before, he is so raw.
He looks like he has that bit of mongrel, no fear attitude about him.
I'm a big fan of Chris Smith too. He looks like he has bulked up a bit during the off season.
We are blessed with talent in the back row

Nice work Collins but time to get rid of the Queenslander hairstyle. He don't need no Sharon Woods at The Roosters.

I laughed when I saw Collins hairstyle - a sharpie haircut. sharpies a unique Aussie subculture of the early seventies. There were lots in Paddo. The sharpie girlfriend scarier than the guy.

As someone involved in the hairdressing industry, whoever cut his hair ought to be ashamed of themselves. This is a prime example of the customer isn't always right!
