MFC I should have added, I do hope your Dad is ok. I know what it's like to have a parent going through health issues as I am going through the same thing at the moment. Take care.

Robbo gets paid very well, but he needs to lose $10k and speak his mind. The Bunker truly ripped us one yesterday with that first try called. Blatant laying on us in the ruck, forward passes, etc.
BJ throwing a punch in the tackle on Latrell was a joke. AND don't mention the knock on by Canberra but was called off his legs. Its all a fu%king joke.

In hindsight I agree it was the 'right' decision because he was offside, shouldn't have been and didn't need to be... so it's correct to blame Matto rather than the refs. But from a practical sense, he was a hairline in front of the kicker and had nothing to do with the play. In full speed nobody was obstructed, we gained no advantage and it was poor defence/surprise that allowed the try in right off the kick-off (not some dodgy obstruction).
NOW THE FIRST RAIDERS TRY?!?!? Knock-on and double (triple?) movement. Fatk that for a joke... the bunker got too technical and (while I didn't hear their decision making process) they seemed to be questioning whether the ball hit a Roosters player. Then... did the Raiders player play at it? I was going uuuum... lost forward into a Raiders player then went to ground... knock-on you mugs!! Then ooooooh nearly a try... POUNCE FORWARD!!!! Nope not quite... POUNCE AGAIN!!! WHOOOO LOOK EVERYBODY I SCORED!!!
Later on in the game Gordon got bumped over and did a little trick of crawling along the ground using his elbows (Raiders thought he was tackled). He then got up and ran but the refs said 'nah mate you were tackled'. Well if he was tackled... why wasn't Rapana before he pounced forward to ground the ball?
The Raiders use this really amateur tactic of starting at 4:00PM so that the sun's in everybody's eyes on the opposition's side, then throwing this massive speaker on that side as well (which annoys everybody). Then last 5 minutes... if Raiders up then the time keeping device magically keeps running during each stoppage of play (rusty old button?) THIS is why we need a small stadium in Bondi... it's easy to cheat the game through being 'a little bit amateur' when you have a small stadium.

Perenara is just an awful ref all round, but no chance you can blame refs for yesterday. Both bunker decisions were 50/50 in my opinion, can't really complain about them going the way they did. For the first Rapana try, Perenara was in line with the forward pass and let it go though. Standard Archer is deadly silent about it, when he has come out and publicly pointed out 3 or 4 decisions that have gone in the Roosters favour this year.

Thanks for the report MFC and hope your dad is improving. My own dad had plenty of health issues before he finally found peace and release in early 2016.
Shows what a true gentleman Robbo is to take the time out to visit you dad - I'm sure it made his day!Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.
