I've met a bunch of wallsters and penners over the years and they are nothing like their aliases in person.

Some used to shit me to tears on the forums but turned out to be champion blokes. Walshie was one. We used to argue like hell on the wall but now life friends.

Thirteen Is another. I got to meet him on Anzac Day when he gave me his four members tickets as he couldn't attend. Absolute champion guy..didnt need to do that but it shows his class. Ill never forget that gesture.

Some I havent met but have known them on these forums for twenty years and have an unwritten rule to not argue with each other.

At the end of the day we all have a common interest and one that we're mad about. Life's short. Don't waste it fighting on an internet forum...

Great to meet you Eddie. I was driving around that area listening to the game on the radio heading home from work on Sunday. I had an auction in Toowoomba.

Good to see this thread is all happy happy now. I don't want to give away too much personal info other than what I have already shared in the past. I am female - one of only a few of us who still post on here. I have two teenage kids and recently turned an age I'd sooner forget.
My hobbies are family, music, TV series and of course the mighty roosters.

I really like this idea Thirteen.

It's true - weak people become sociopaths online, and behave completely unlike they would in reality. To put it bluntly, it shits me to tears, especially considering we all follow the same tribe on here.

                              • Moderators, if the thread starter wouldn't mind, maybe this thread could be renamed "Meet the man/woman behind the Keyboard" and made a sticky?
I think it's really good that some people are not hiding behind the keyboard and if others know something about who they are 'talking' to, there may be less thread invasions and personal attacks and bullying on here.
