Fergo no 4 and SKD no 5 ...we'll lose again. [unless by some miracle the RL fairy has paid them a visit and changed things].

Dropping skd possibly could put a personal stumbling block on him as far as market value goes in interest from other clubs. However his displays in first grade aren't pumping his price up much either.

Robbo is leaving the ball In shauns half of the court and trying to freshen up a rookie with a hell of a lot of years in front of him.

      Imo.
Of course SKD is not the only player in our team who drops the ball, makes impossible offloads, too-hard passes, and/or gives away penalties, or throws forward passes, or misses tackles, or gets caught out of position in defence.
Oh for a game on a dry field/dry day, sunny afternoon.

If I remember correctly, when Latrell was playing fullback he had trouble with high bombs and rolling/sliding balls low down to him.

Can anyone tell me why the friggin dogs are favourite to sign any player. Is it the Hasler factor? Are they offering more money? They certainly haven't been more successful than us since 2010. So what's the deal?

Probably because they can summon massive 3rd party deals.

More than any other Sydney club.

I'm not a fan of these bidding wars anyway. The concern is our up n comers will be snapped up by other clubs - as usual. In the meantime, we need some big bopper props like we have for a while, and maybe one or two big names.

On paper, we have a pretty good team now, But we are lacking size in the forwards, and speed in the backs,

Unless we play well as a unit, playing for each other, this season will soon be gone, and we'll back on the merry-go-round in 2018.

If this is the Roos side, and if Trent cannot pick a player that is not in the 21 players list, then Aubbo to the centers? Carter to bench? I still think SST might get a run for the Roos to get some match fitness. Coming back from a serious injury takes a little time. Not expecting miracles from him but glad to see his name on the team sheets.

Maubs would be in at centre.

Manu is a terrible defender IMO, as is fergo

But early to say he's a terrible defender. He had a terrible game defensively against Penrith. He's a very good young player though. Happy to blood him now. Teddy at 1 manu and latrell and 3 and 4 could be lethal.

I don't want Manu anywhere near first grade until he can learn to tackle. Putting him in the side for either SKD or Fergo would be like trading in the 1970s Datsun for the 1950s Datsun. Fergo and SKD retain their positions simply because we don't have anyone to replace them. We have zero depth in the backs. Elliott was handy. Nothing flashy but he rarely made mistakes and he can defend.
