Exactly. I think he is a far better defender than Jimmy.

Carney was fast, evasive, great step, great kicker, great passes...He had it all except the attitude.

Had to read that twice - first time around I read 'tarts' whereas you actually wrote 'tats'!

ha ha I don't think Todd had that problem. I really hate that stupid tattoo of his old man he has on his chest. Looks ridicuklous in my opinion but what would I know?

Wouldn't swap Keary for anyone. Hope he's a rooster for life.
But you can't help but look at Toddy in 2010 and think of what might have been ...

Carney was born twenty or thirty years too late.

Carney would have to be biggest wasted talent and missed potential in league I can remember. He was one of those 'natural footballers'. What a shame he was such a loose cannon. Kid could have been a contender.

A former colleague of mine used to date Todd Carney. She said that the reason he got the tattoo of his Dad was because he was the one who found his old man's body after his death. I know Carney has a few unusual tats but obviously that one would have a special personal meaning to him.

I know he had alot of problems off the field but he was killing it on it with us. I reckon had we kept him we probably would have gone very close to a GF in 2011 or 2012. IMO we let him go for a minor offence.

Like SBW he didn't aim up in the second year. But I agree getting rid of him was a mistake. It had to do with Brian Smith trying to save himself.

That 2010 season was just about the best I have seen from a rooster.

I never thought that SBW never aimed up I believe that our forwards bludged it a bit and he was left the whole season taking the ball up the middle him self in stead of roaming and taking it up ..In the end Souffs got us and I took it up-the kyber but he was killing it in that game and then like the rest of them got wacked
