One hour per week on media and public speaking training would be possible...and would be of great help to them in their future lives and careers after footy.
Exactly. And why not have this media training organised and conducted throughout the off season thus avoiding disruptions to the season?

    Chook.

Was talking to someone who works at the club just last week and said Pearce is the best bloke at the club always stays behind after training and he truly cares about the club. I know this thread is just a stir up but dead set I wish every bloke in our team was like him, so much ticker.

Look at Pearce in photos of the Origin squad.

His manner, everything about him, it all says one thing: the bloke LOVES footy. Whatever team he's playing for, it becomes everything to him. That includes the Roosters. The fact that he cops shit on here is a deadset joke. If only some of the supposed "talent" in our team had his desire/commitment. Half of them wouldn't even know what those words mean.

I don't agree that Pearce is average, but that's beside the point...

The Dragons have a team full of average but committed players, and they've run top three for the past few years.

If we didn't carry passengers who couldn't give two ****s about the club/result we would go great guns.

Unfortunately the last team you could say the team was fully committed was probably 2004.
